Roman and Lavern Peña own the Buda, Texas, location and have been Blessing Guests since 2020. They currently own one location, a trailer, and two additional territories for future shops. We sat down with them to ask about their experience franchising with Bahama Buck’s.
We love Sno, and before we were even looking into a franchise, we had gone into Bahama Buck’s in Midland, TX, and fell in love with the flavors and the product. One weekend, we were at our daughter’s volleyball tournament where Scott Morris, the Leander, TX owner, was there with his Bahama Buck’s trailer. We had the opportunity to speak with him about why he chose to franchise with Bahama Buck’s, and his story and values aligned with ours. We were looking for something new that could add value to the community. I like Buck’s because of how fun it is, the atmosphere, the flavors, and its good vibes. Once we met the Buchanan family, Blake (the founder of Bahama Buck’s), and everyone at corporate, it was pretty much a done deal with us.

The corporate Operations team is available all the time, and when anything happens, I am the first one to call the corporate team and encourage the crew to do the same. When things go down while working, we can always rely on calling for support. The Support Center’s Project Development team also does a really great job with getting the shop set up for you before you open. They already know what to do. They come up with the layout for the shop as well as the decor that works best. They have been really helpful from the beginning. Each time I call the Support Center, everybody is really friendly and very responsive.
The support from the corporate office and the Operations team. There is a tremendous amount of value that comes with purchasing a Bahama Buck’s franchise. The level of service we want to offer our guests separates us from our competition, and the fact that we want to provide an experience along with our product.
